CCIWA – “What would we do if we had a local outbreak?”

Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA Chief Economist Aaron Morey told Oliver Peterson WA is well placed to weather the coronavirus but there will be some short term pain.

“What we’ve identified is the immediate impacts will be reduced visitors. 

“We’ve upgraded our estimates on lost Chinese visitor expenditure to around $350 million over the first six months.”

He also says the real problem looking forward is what would happen to our economy if there was a local outbreak.
