While in London, Steve Mills has noticed the number of places that allow punters to bring their drinks outside the venues.

We asked Peter Peck from Liquor Licensing Association WA and Tim McLernan, who owns a couple of Perth pubs including a new one at the Perth Stadium, if they think Perth would be able to do the same.

“If we can start to educate the ‘Wally’s’ then I think we’ll have a fantastic culture of being able to drink in a lot more areas and enjoy ourselves socially,” Mr Peck said.

Steve and Baz took calls after the interview and one caller says he doesn’t think Perth people can be trusted.
