Brad Hardie – Danny Frawley killed in car crash near Ballarat
Former St Kilda footballer, Richmond coach and media star Danny Frawley has died in a car crash in western Victoria.
A car that Frawley was driving left the road and crashed into a tree at Millbrook, near Balkan, about 1.30pm today.
Police say Frawley died after his car hit a tree on the corner of Old Melbourne Road and Sullivans Road just after 1.30pm.There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
Frawley, better known to many by his nickname ‘Spud’, was 56.
Brad also reported that GWS forward Toby Greene was fined $7500 for serious misconduct against Bulldogs Marcus Bontempelli, He’s clear to play for the weekend.
Brad has a word on the street that someone has upset the playing group down at Freo footy club. Watch this space as one player has become “very unpopular”.
