Australian banks are deferring loan repayments for small businesses for six months to help those dealing with the economic impacts of coronavirus.

It is part of an assistance package unveiled by the Australian Banking Association.

Chief executive Anna Bligh told Oliver Peterson it’s about keeping doors open and people in work.
