Injured Docker Hayden Ballantyne doesn’t talk to Nat Fyfe about his contract… but he had a chat to Steve and Basil about how he and his teammates deal with the situation.

The Brownlow medallist’s future has set tongues wagging after an FM radio show claimed Nat Fyfe had done a secret deal to move to St Kilda next season. All parties involved have denied the rumour.

Fyfe is a restricted free agent however and Fremantle have the right to match any offer presented to their star player by rival clubs.

Ballantyne, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, says Fyfe deserves an apology for the comment.
