Former Australian Competition and Consumer Commissioner, Graeme Samuel has accused Australian airports of gouging travellers by abusing their market power.

Professor Samuel told Mornings with Gareth Parker, there needs to be more regulation of the industry.

Australian Airports Association CEO Caroline Wilkie then told Mornings, the airports are being unfairly targeted.
