Australia is overpopulated

Australia is currently overpopulated by about nine million people according to some environmental experts who have crunched the numbers.

There’s currently 24.1 million people in Australia, but Peter Martin and James Ward from the University of South Australia says Australia should have a population of 15 million.

“You can’t go on ignoring the number of people as we do,” Peter Martin told 6PR Breakfast.
