Aussie tracker who helped beam moon landing to the world

One of the Australian trackers instrumental in the facilitating the Apollo 11 telecast from Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station joined Mornings with Gareth Parker, on the 50th anniversary of ‘lift off’.

John Saxon was working at the NASA facility near Canberra when history was made, and was responsible for beaming the first eight minutes of Neil Armstrong’s steps on the moon.
