Airport Link worker suffers burns in toxic ‘sludge’

A worker on the Forrestfield Link tunnel has been hospitalised with burns to his legs after standing in toxic runoff from a tunnel-boring machine.
CFMMEU State Secretary Mick Buchan told Gary Adshead, it’s the latest in a series of injuries and problems plaguing the project.
