PM rules out gun law changes

The Prime Minister says there is ‘no chance’ the federal government would weaken Australia’s gun laws, to pass legislation

The issue came to a head after Independent Senator David Leyonhjelm said he would support laws to clamp-down on rogue unions, if the ban on the Adler shotgun was lifted

This morning Malcolm Turnbull appeared to be open to the compromise

But by Question Time, Mr Turnbull hosed down the suggestion.

Macquarie Media’s political editor Michael Pachi joined Adam Shand to discuss.
