30 people have been killed on WA roads in 2016, so far.

Of those 30 deaths, 22 people have been killed on country roads, and eight in the metro area.

WA Road Safety Commissioner Kim Papalia has issued a warning to country drivers, following the deaths of two men in a crash near Lake King on the weekend.

The Commissioner joined Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show to implore drivers to buckle up.
