Newborn dumped in Sydney, mother charged with attempted murder

A newborn Sydney baby is now listed as stable in hospital – after being found down a drain at Quakers Hill.

It’s believed the boy had been there for six days before cyclists heard his cries, while riding on the M7 yesterday – prompting a remarkable rescue.

The infant’s 30-year-old mother will face court today, after being charged with attempted murder.
