New laws protect small business against unfair contracts

Federal laws will come into effect in November, designed to protect small businesses that go into contract with larger companies.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission believes the laws, passed last year, will go a long way to rectifying the imbalance against subcontractors in WA.

Acting Chairman Dr Michael Schaper explained the new laws to Gareth Parker, on the 6PR Morning Program.
