McPharlin: Review process ‘horrendous’

Article image for McPharlin: Review process ‘horrendous’

Retired Fremantle defender Luke McPharlin has revealed how severe the review process would have been at the Fremantle Dockers yesterday after Sunday’s 65-point loss.

The players had Easter Monday off as part of their recovery, but were back in the office Tuesday.

When asked by Karl Langdon what the day would have entailed, McPharlin explained the breakdown of the day.

‘It often starts with the leadership group and the coach having a pretty direct conversation with each other in Ross’ office.

‘That can be a pleasant experience if everything went well or it can be a horrendous one and I imagine it would have been the latter yesterday.

‘There’d be some very direct feedback given, Karl and it’s not a very pleasant experience,’ he said.
