The Prime Minister has signalled there’s likely to be a conscience vote on gay marriage, but not for the time being.

Labor will introduce a Private Members Bill to Parliament on Monday, but for a vote to happen the government must approve debate on the controversial issue.

Tony Abbott has indicated the debate will take place, but won’t say when.

Gary Adshead spoke with Australian Marriage Equality Deputy National Director Ivan Hinton-Teoh.
