Eagles youngster Jack Petrucelle kicked five of West Coast’s eight goals last Friday night and he won the Round Five AFL Rising Star nomination for his efforts.

Coleman Medalist Josh Kennedy was limited to only one goal in the loss against Port Adelaide and says he’s thankful Petrucelle was there to kick goals.

“It was good to see him finally get on the end of a few, he’s a talented player, he’s starting to really use his skills that he’s got in football and it was just great to see,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.
“He was our only avenue to goal on the weekend, so I’m glad we had one of us.”
