Jake Waterman joined Wide World of Sports this evening and reflected on the past few days since the announcement of his friend and teammate Jeremy McGovern’s retirement announcement.

Waterman was in the room as McGovern spoke to teammates and staff on Friday morning, informing them he had to step away from the game under medical direction.

“His message for the playing group was basically that we don’t know when we’ll play our last game, so don’t take it for granted.”
