It’s a moniker the Hawks have long had and – given they have won the last three flags – it’s understandably a great place to be, but big ruckman Ben McEvoy says it goes beyond that. 

‘Outside of the success it’s a fantastic club to play footy at,’ he said.

‘We really enjoy our footy. They promote themselves as the family club and follow through and deliver on that.

‘There’s a genuine care for people at the footy club and their families.’
