GAME DAY: West Coast V Melbourne

Article image for GAME DAY: West Coast V Melbourne

The West Coast Eagles have recorded a narrow 6-point win in a thrilling match with the Melbourne Demons at Domain Stadium on Saturday.

Although Melbourne dominated play around the ground and had 66 inside 50’s to West Coast’s 37, their inaccurate kicking in front of goal stopped the Demons from winning the game with the Eagles finishing with a 10.6 (66) to 8.12 (60) victory.

Melbourne’s Nathan Jones was impressive for his 34 disposals and Jeff Garlett kept them in the game with his three goals.
Josh Kennedy was the only multiple goal kicker for the Eagles, while Andrew Gaff played well for his 26 disposals and goal.
