Eagles back in the eight
West Coast Eagles are back in the top eight after their massive 68-point thrashing of the Brisbane Lions at Domain Stadium on Sunday evening.
Josh Kennedy kicked an impressive six goals and Mark LeCras two snaps on goal where two for the highlights reel in the Eagles convincing 17.11 (113) to 6.9 (45) win.
The Eagles had plenty of distractions in the lead up to this game with the coach’s job under scrutiny, Matt Priddis and Lewis Jetta out of the side with injuries and then their Brownlow medalist Matt Priddis announcing his retirement at the end of the season.
But Andrew Gaff lined up for his 150th game and Luke Partington kicked a goal in his AFL debut with the Eagles. While the Lions brought in Sam Skinner and Jacob Allison to make their AFL debuts.
