GAME DAY: Crows steal win from Eagles nest

The Adelaide Crows have stolen the game from the Eagles at Domain Stadium on Saturday night, the Eagles were leading throughout but were left scoreless in the final term for a 29-point Crows win, 11.10 (76) to 15.15 (105).
The Eagles had a couple of late changes with Eric MacKenzie out with a virus and Sam Butler went down the players race with a groin injury just before bouncedown; Xavier Ellis stepped in and entered the game late.

The early disruption gave Eddie Betts and his Crows a good start with a big run up the ground to get the first goal of the game and his teammate Josh Jenkins continued the trend with a forceful kick for goal that saw the ball disappear out of the ground.
The Eagles managed to gather together and answer back with five straight goals to take over the lead at the first break.

West Coast remained in front, but the Crows were always close behind and could have been closer if a controversial goal review for a Taylor Walker kick went their way. Josh Kennedy and Elliot Yeo goals added to the Eagles scoreline for a 19-point lead at the big break.
The Crows forwards took some big marks, first Betts then Charlie Cameron, in the third quarter and kept in touch with a 12-point deficit going into the last term.
