GAME DAY: Crows Get Big Win Over Freo

Article image for GAME DAY: Crows Get Big Win Over Freo

The Crows have claimed a massive 72-point victory over the Fremantle Dockers at Domain Stadium on Sunday with Eddie Betts and Josh Jenkins dominating the goal scoring for the Crows.

In another injury blow for the Dockers Aaron Sandilands didn’t finish out the game with a suspected hamstring injury, but Michael Walters was a shining light kicking his biggest goal haul of his career with five majors for the small forward to take the score to 11.4 (70) to Adelaide’s 21.16 (142).

Taylor Walker was kept to one goal by some hard work from Fremantle’s defense, but the likes of speedster Charlie Cameron and ball magnet Scott Thompson kept the ball moving for Adelaide as they extended their lead at every break.

Matthew Pavlich kicked three goals in the game, but remains one goal short of reaching 700 career goals.
