Freo farewell season with loss to Bombers
Season 2017 is over for Fremantle after a 15-point loss to Essendon at Etihad with the win securing a finals spot for the Bombers.
The Fremantle Dockers came off consecutive 104-point losses but were a different side this week, kicking five goals in a row in the third term to get within eight-points. Essendon fought back for the 16.11 (107) to 14.8 (92).
“Hamling was doing a great job on Daniher.[Now] Fremantle’s using a team defense, I’m not sure that’s the way to go” Brad#AFLDonsFreo
