Fremantle will be making the trip to Canberra this week to face the second-placed Greater Western Sydney after a devastating Derby loss.

The Dockers fought back against the Eagles in the second half of the Derby to almost steal the game. Bradley Hill says the coach was proud of their efforts.

“He didn’t really speak about us missing goals. He was proud of our effort and we gave ourselves a chance to win the game,” Hill told 6PR Breakfast.

“As a young group just building that consistency; we thought that we took a step forward, but we don’t want to set that as our best.”
