Despite the cancellation of numerous music festivals nationwide due to low ticket sales, Fred Again managed to sell 35,000 tickets just three days before his show at Langley Park.

Founder of Leverage Media Lanna Hill joined Jamie Burnett on Perth Live to discuss the future of the live music industry in Australia.

“It is really sad to see the disruption of the festival industry. But the live music industry is actually is in really good shape. More people globally are attending gigs than ever before but I think our tastes are changing,” Ms Hill said.

“People will spend the money, but they’re holding off because there is so much choice.”
