Just last week Masterchef’s George Calombaris was fined $200,000 for underpaying staff almost $8 million, but at the same time, the WA State Government is using the celebrity chef to promote WA.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford posed the question on 6PR Breakfast; would it be wise to ditch his involvement in the WA promotion?

“This is not about kicking George while he’s down, this is about getting bang for your buck,” Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast.
