Final wall falls at Subi markets

It’s the end of an era. The last wall of the Subiaco Pavilion Markets was demolished today as part of a multistory redevelopment that hopes to bring Subi back to life.
The man in charge of the new development says, they’ve kept some parts of the iconic building to pay homage to the markets.
“Anything they we felt had any heritage significance has gone to the Subiaco Museum,” Paul Blackburne, the managing director of Blackburne Property Development, told 6PR Breakfast.
