Essendon’s protracted legal stoush looks set to have a direct impact on their AFL playing schedule with reports they will not take part in the official preseason NAB Cup Challenge.

Instead of playing in the traditional preseason fixture the Bombers will play internal matches which will consist of a game consisting of five terms to be played on Fridays.
