Defence Fagan’s first priority

Chris Fagan says his first priority as the new Brisbane Lions coach is to sort out the team’s defence.
Fagan was appointed to the job on Tuesday taking over from Justin Leppitsch who was sacked at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
The team conceded 130 points per game last year, which was far and away the worst of any team in the competition.
Fagan also said;
– He plans to meet with out-of-favour captain Tom Rockliff and Pearce Hanley
– Dane Beams is healthy and expected to have a full pre-season.
– The no.2 draft pick is off the table with the plan to get young talent into the club
