Kids might be the toughest book critics out there, but it’s a challenge that Australian author Robert Vescio loves to take on.

His new book, Barnaby and the Lost Treasure of Bunnyville, was inspired by a childhood spent in the garden and explores environmental themes.

‘While it may seem difficult to make a difference, I wanted to write a story that demonstrated how one person’s positive encounter with nature can make a difference for other’s to enjoy,’ he told 6PR’s Chris Ilsley.

Listen to the full interview below, and pick up a copy of the book via Big Sky Publishing.
