There are plenty of positives to come from Fremantle’s first round match, despite losing to Geelong by 42 points, according to forward Hayden Ballantyne.

Ballantyne who is sidelined with a hamstring injury said ‘you can lose to go forward, we did play some good patches of football’.

The Dockers play Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
