WA organisation Artrage is following in the footsteps of Oxfam by formally adopting the four-day work week.

Artrage CEO Sharon Burgess said the arts-focused non-profit organisation had adopted the plan to better facilitate people’s healthy work practices and retain staff.

“In this work environment, it costs a a lot more to find somebody new to sit in a seat than it does to keep the staff that you’ve got happy… there’s been a better work-life balance and people are happier,” she said.
