When Danny won cash on 6PR Breakfast, he told Gareth Parker he was working on his first song.

He used the $200 “Christmas Cash” towards the production of his first track  Spring Break Fever.

Danny told Gareth Parker he took up music production as a hobby after “test-running” retirement.

“My music exposure up until then had only been playing the recorder pretty poorly,” he said.

“So I learnt to read music and then did a [electronic] music production course at Lab Six North Perth.”
