Twiggy’s $160 million deal for lifesaving equipment

Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation has been working around the clock to procure 90 tonnes of medical supplies.

Partnering up with Fortescue Metals Group, the foundation has organised three planes to arrive in Perth this week carrying personal protective equipment and 33 ICU-grade ventilators.

Dr Forrest says he couldn’t rest knowing there was a shortage of equipment in Australia’s health care network.
