Having been diagnosed with cancer eight years ago and told his outcomes were likely bleak, Martin Meader turned to singing and saw significant benefits to his health and mental health from being involved.

He has now created Perth’s only one thousand-person choir.

Mr Meader talked to Russell Collett about finding new life in the community and support he’s developed along the way.
