Dr Kellie McGlynn, an academic leader at Deakin University, told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that the perception of vocational training within schools needs to shift so that it is no longer viewed as a fallback option.
“It’s certainly not an issue of employment or an issue of income; it’s more around perception and a cultural way that we look at vocational pathways”, she said.
