Adam Simpson has heaped praise on star utility Elliott Yeo after another impressive performance in their win over Hawthorn on Friday night. 

Yeo played in all three sections of the ground throughout the night, starting forward and finishing the game at full back on Brian Lake. 

The 22-year-old had 19 possessions, six marks, three tackles and booted 1.2 in the Eagles’ 32-point qualifying final win. 

‘I think the big thing with clubs with flexibility. You’re often perhaps a midfielder who can go forward or a forward who can go into the midfield.’

‘To have a guy that’s 190cm that can play in all three areas, there’s not many of them around.’

‘He’s still got some work to do, he’s only 22 years old.’
