It’s anticipated that an independent report into the devastating Yarloop bushfire will recommend a Country Fire Authority- style set up for Western Australia.

Premier Colin Barnett is expected to hand down the independent report into the January blaze, that destroyed more than 120 homes and buildings.

Roger Underwood, Chairman of the Bushfire Front, has told Gary Adshead he agrees that a CFA-style organisation would have better prepared Yarloop and surrounding towns for the bushfire season.
