The passing of often-provocative musician Sinead O’Connor has surprised many, leading to a remembrance of the deep and lasting impact she left.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast said he was sadly not shocked by the news.

“There seemed to be this terrible inevitability about how this story is going to end,” Mr Ford said.
