Why Oly thinks the Fremantle Council is wasting $35K on the Voice campaign

Today the Fremantle Council announced it will be spending $35,000 on a ‘yes’ vote for the Voice to parliament campaign and Oliver Peterson is not happy about it.
He believes this is a misuse of ratepayer funds which should be used to benefit the community.
Oly says this is an “example of a council sticking its nose into issues beyond your rates road”.
He also believes every councillor should be made to publicly declare if they are a member of a political party.
