Shane Warne’s family members have had a chance to check out Warnie before it premieres this weekend, and had plenty of things to say about it.

Shane’s father Keith and brother Jason both attended a preview screening of the docudrama, and said it captured the full breadth of the great man’s life, warts and all.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast they went in with some trepidation because of the controversy surrounding the show.

“They both attended and watched it, and they both gave it the thumbs up; they believe it’s a very fair, very honest depiction of Shane’s life,” Mr Ford said.

Peter Ford also discussed the popular network show set to film in WA; and the deep connection a Logie nominee has with Telethon.
