The winners of the WA Police Excellence Awards have been announced this morning, with Constable Courtney Roberts taking out the top prize in the individual category.

Constable Roberts, from Murdoch Police Station, was recognised for her high arrest rates, going out of her way to engage with the community and providing assistance to victims of crime. 

Constable Roberts, and Senior Constable Glenn Swannell, joined Gary Adshead in the studio to discuss the various challenges and success in the job.
