A letter is circulating among federal coalition members asking them to unite behind a call for a leadership spill according to 6PR

Veteran broadcaster Bob Maumill broke the news on Sunday after being informed by a senior federal member of government that there was growing unrest with the future of the government with Tony Abbott as the leader of the Party.

Mr Maumill would not say who the federal member of the Liberal party was but said that he an other members had already signed the document calling for a leadership spill.
