WA is supplying a strong contingent for this year’s Melbourne Cup, with both the organiser and most cherished jockey both being sandgropers.

Mr Rosich talked to Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast about the hype leading into the big day, as well as the debate currently running over racecourse dress codes.

“I’m standing at the hill gate as we speak, watching people streaming in, and it’s an incredibly well-dressed craft,” Mr Rosich said.

“You’ll be disappointed, Boris, that you can’t show your belly button, so you have to keep your shirt buttoned up.”
