It’s no secret King Charles will be crowned king on Saturday, however, there is much speculation about what will actually happen during the ceremony.

Historian and British Royal Family expert at the University of Sydney Associate Professor Dr Cindy McCreery told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons the King plans to modernise the ceremony.

Professor McCreery said the coronation shows the type of king he wants to be.

“There will be an inclusive air to the ceremony,” said Professor McCreery.
