A new report from the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman is calling for a telco registration scheme with minimum entry requirements to protect consumers.

Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman Cynthia Gerbert spoke to Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“What we’re worried about is customers are still falling through the cracks and the regulatory regime, or the consumer protections – the things that we rely on to get fair treatment, aren’t fit for purpose anymore,” Ms Gerbert said.
