State Government confirms Transperth will go cashless

The State Government has confirmed Transperth and Transregional passengers will be able to pay for their tickets via bank cards and mobile phones.
This comes after the Transport Workers Union called for an emergency meeting to provide safer working conditions for WA bus drivers.
TWU WA Branch Secretary Tim Dawson told 6PR Afternoons this is only one small step to protect bus drivers.
