Residents and rate payers in the City of Vincent will be asked to comment on proposed speed limit reductions within the city.

A motion to trial 30 kilometre per hour zones around two local schools was passed at Tuesday night’s council meeting, and will now be put out for public comment, ahead of consultation with Main Roads.

There is also a push for local streets to be reduced from 50 kilometres per hour to 40 kilometres per hour.
