Fremantle has recorded their biggest win of the season, taking North Melbourne to task for a 64-point win at Metricon Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

It took 11 minutes for anything to happen in the game, but then Fremantle’s Matt Taberner got the ball rolling for a goal and it was all go for the Dockers from then on.

With a 32-point lead at half time, Fremantle’s 7.4. (46) was their best first half score of the season. The Dockers extended that lead to 50 points at three quarter time, before the final 5.5 (35) to 15.9 (99) scoreline.

Jesse Hogan kicked his first goals of the season with four majors, Michael Walters, Taberner and Lachy Schultz finished with three goals apiece.

It was a tough game for Todd Goldstein in his milestone 250th game for the Kangaroos, finishing with nine disposals and  hit outs.

“To come back and kick four goals is unreal; he was really lively in our forward line today and taking some really nice marks and provided some really great leads and he finished off his work so that was awesome to see,” Lachie Schultz says about his teammate Jesse Hogan.
