As detailed in the John Hughes Hyundai Rumour File, Steve Irwin’s son and famed Australia Zoo conservationist and personality Robert Irwin is dating a WA girl, something which has apparently brought up the opportunity for a career change.

Rumour has it Bob will be getting his hands dirty and potentially getting into the carpet-laying business.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it would be an interesting, if unbelievable, sea change.

“Although his girlfriend’s dad does own a carpet-laying business so maybe there’s something in it?” Mr Ford asked.
